Breakout Session 1 (10:30AM)
Cracking the Code: Smarter Strategies for Health Insurance Compliance & Cost Control
AJ Reeves
Health insurance costs continue to rise year after year, with no clear end in sight. At the same time, new laws and regulations are constantly introduced—each one with a confusing acronym that you’re somehow expected to understand and apply. As an employer, you can either guess your way through the requirements, hope nothing gets missed, and absorb another annual increase—or you can equip yourself with the knowledge and tools to become a smarter consumer. In this presentation, we’ll cover some of the most important compliance issues surrounding employer-sponsored health insurance and explore practical strategies you can use to help manage costs and keep more money in the pockets of both you and your employees.
Turn Your Business Into a
Money-Making Machine
Rocky Lalvani, MBA, EA
You can actually start pulling cash out of your business—consistently.
You’re great at doing the work. You build. You fix. You deliver. But let’s be honest—when it comes to pricing jobs right, covering overhead, and managing cash flow… most contractors hate the numbers. And too often, they don’t get paid what they’re worth.
In this high-impact, eye-opening session, Profit First expert Rocky Lalvani will show you exactly how to take control of your money and finally run a business that pays you. You’ll learn the 16 profit-driving levers every trades-based business has, how to avoid the cash traps that sink contractors, and how to confidently price jobs that cover costs and pay you first. How to implement Profit First. Rocky will walk you through real-world spreadsheets that make sense—even if you’re not a “finance person.”
If you’re tired of working hard and still wondering where the money went, this talk is your blueprint for building a business that runs like a machine—and makes you money in the process.

Michael Metz-Topodas
Partner, Saul Ewing LLP
Under the second Trump Administration, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has shifted its priorities to focus on deregulation. As part of this initiative, OSHA recently announced over two dozen proposed rules “aim[ed] to cut regulatory burdens, spur job creation, and fuel economic opportunity for American workers and business.” These policy changes occur in the context of more fundamental restructuring at OSHA impacting employers nationwide.
This program examines impacts to OSHA’s rulemaking and enforcement activities due to (a) changes in the underlying legal framework of OSHA’s regulatory program and (b) reductions to agency staffing and funding. It also discusses recently proposed OSHA rules, covers anticipated workplace safety enforcement trends, and provides insight regarding proposed future OSHA initiatives—all to help safety directors, project managers, and company executives prepare for, address, and manage workplace safety matters, OSHA inspections, and OSHA enforcement actions. By the end of this seminar, participants should be able to:
